Classics and Fairy Tales  (6 days)



This tour contains the most romantic part of Germany.
Discover Bavaria, the Romantic Road, Heidelberg and the Rhine river valley, famous for medieval towns,romantic villages and fairytale castles.



Day one

WELCOME TO GERMANY !!
Pick up by your private driver guide at Frankfurt International Airport. After a short ride (approx. 1 hour) we will arrive at the first destination city: Heidelberg. Visit the world famous castle, 80 metres above the Neckar River on the steep, wooded side of the Königstuhl hill. Go there with a ride in the historic funicular railway. A walk through Heidelbergs old town is a must in many ways.
In the afternoon, you will tour Speyer, with its glorious cathedral (beneath the high altar are the tombs of eight Holy Roman emperors and German kings ), the historical old town and the remarkable gate-tower. Enjoy your typical German dinner.
One night in the Rhine River valley.



Day two

Now your Germany tour will take you to beautiful Rothenburg ob der Tauber, which downtown is the most well-preserved on the "Romantic Road". 
Enjoy a tour through the historic city center, surrounded by a town wall with a number of glorious town gates.

Day three

Today you will see the most famous 19th century neo-romantic castle of the world, King Ludwig II’s Neuschwanstein Castle. 
After your “inside the castle tour” you will have to the chance to take pictures of Neuschwanstein Castle from “Mary’s bridge” ; if you are not afraid of heights and free from giddiness…
Next your private driver guide will lead you to another famous palace of King Ludwig, the Linderhof Palace. It is the smallest of the three palaces built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one of which he lived to see completion. This day, you will see two different castles, both breathtaking in architecture and landscape.

Day four

Today you will see Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the best known City in the German Alps, with a gorgeous Alpine scenery. Don't miss the spectacular view of the Zugspitze: with 2,962 meters, it's Germany's tallest mountain. (funicular to the top on request/ extra charges may apply). Enjoy sensational  Alpine panoramas and get a  good dinner in a typical Bavarian restaurant.
Afterwards, you will get a ride to the area of Munich.

Day five

Explore Munich and its beautiful downtown, take a walk to the sights of one of Germany's largest and oldest cities.

See the Marienplatz, the cathedral church of our Lady (Frauenkirche); the new town hall and the famous victuals- market.
Enjoy German hospitality at lunchtime and relax with a copious meal at the world famous "Hofbräu Haus", royal court brewery and restaurant since 1589. Visit the Olympic-stadium or see the BMW-museum.

Day six

According to your flight itinerary, there will be more sight seeing in Munich. Then your private driver guide will give you a ride to Munich International airport, with a lot unforgettable memories and beautiful pictures on your camera!
